נְבַג, נְבוֹג, נְבֵיג(cmp. ביג s. v. בָּאגָא) to break forth, come to the surface. Succ.53b כרינן … ונַבְגֵּי מיא Ar. (ed. ונפקי, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 80; Tosaf. to Bekh.44b ונַבְעֵי) we dig a little, and water bubbles forth. Snh.82a קברה והדר נבוג he buried the skull, but it came up again; ib. 104a והדר נבג (Mss. F. a. K.); Yalk.
